At Capel Ed we believe that local church is one of God's greatest gifts to the world.Church is where people from all walks of life can gather to worship the Living God together,learn from Him and teach each other.Church is much more than a building. In the Bible"Church"never refers to a building.It always refers to people-the people who follow Jesus Christ.

Sundays

We come together every Sunday at 10.30am. The service includes prayer, singing and bible teaching. Children stay in our morning service, and we organise a range of activities for them based on the morning's teaching. For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the Children and Youth page.

After the service there is an opportunity for one of our prayer team members to pray with you about anything you need. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also served; we'd love to get to know you better.

Small Groups

Join a Small Group

Church house groups are a brilliant way to enjoy church life together. They’re where smaller groups of people meet together mid-week in someone’s home to catch up, share life, study the Bible, pray and enjoy fellowship.

The Christian church has always met in homes to eat together and study the Bible (Acts 2:42-46).

A healthy church puts on a variety of meetings and homes create a totally different atmosphere for sharing than our bigger meetings. They also help us encourage each other (Hebrews 10:24-25) and carry each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

The key aim of the small groups is to help members to become more effective and productive disciples of Jesus. Please contact us if you would like to join such a group.

Prayer Meetings

Prayer at Capel Ed

Prayer lies at the very heart of a Christian's relationship with the living God and we want to encourage one another in the joy of daily prayer. Prayer is talking to God the Father, through Jesus the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is a sign of our relationship with Him. We can do nothing in our own strength.

If you would like someone to pray with you about anything, please approach one of our leaders after our Sunday service, or join our fortnightly Wednesday meeting.

Wednesday Prayer

Wednesday Prayer Meeting – 7.30pm at Capel Ed Chapel

We meet together for corporate prayer on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. All are welcome!

Cwtch is held in the Chapel on the 2nd Tuesday of every month 2:30-4pm
